One of the newer restaurants to open at the V&A is Dalliance and it has been getting a great deal of attention ever since. All very much deserved. Here is a bit about the restaurant, one you should definitely put on your list for Winter, if you’re yet to visit.

In the heart of the V&A Waterfront’s golden mile is Dalliance, Cape Town’s freshest authentic urban eatery.

Flanked by the Atlantic Ocean on one side, a bustling kitchen at its heart and shoppers browsing on the other, this spot has it all. Frantic yet sophisticated, absorbing yet chilled out, let the cool chaos engulf you. Oyster shucking, raw juice making, craft beer pouring… there is so much to take in.

The décor is chic, simple and considered; industrial meets library, in duck egg blue, copper and wood. Sit back, relax and allow the upbeat jazz to wash over you while the laid-back staff wow you with their gutsy sharing plates, lovely local wine by the glass and stellar cocktails.
